The load signal and spring force act on the other side of the constant differential pressure reducing valve outlet pressure. The outlet pressure of the constant differential pressure reducing valve minus the load pressure equals the spring force, which means that the pressure difference before and after the throttling edge of the directional throttle valve is a fixed value. Therefore, the flow through the directional throttle valve is only proportional to the opening amount of this valve core.

When the hydraulic system uses a constant pressure differential variable pump for oil supply, the load pressure of each directional valve is selected by the shuttle valve and the highest load pressure signal is transmitted to the load sensitive interface of the variable pump. Then, through the control of the pump's variable mechanism, the constant pressure differential variable pump only provides the pressure required by the hydraulic system

Compared with the ZLSL type valve, the response of the ZLSV type valve is relatively slower because the pump variable mechanism needs to adjust the action, which results in delayed action. However, the energy-saving effect of ZLSV type valves will be better.
